About the Class: Tutor-led
Basic drawing skills, brush techniques and colour mixing. Individual assistance is available for beginners.

What to bring:
● Transparent watercolour paints. W/N (Artists quality or Cotman student quality) Art Spectrum, Rowney, Reeves etc. Suggested colours: Yellow ochre, Raw & Burnt sienna, Alizarin crimson, French ultramarine blue, Cobalt blue, Cerueauen blue, Cadmium yellow, Aureolin yellow, Indian yellow, Cadmium red, Viridian green, Burnt Sienna, Lemon Yellow
● Watercolour brushes – Large round pointed No.6, Medium round pointed No.4, Fine
round pointed.
● Watercolour paper – Arches, Saunders, Waterford etc.
● Watercolour Palette, Large ice cream lid or white plate.
● Water jar
● Backing board (plywood etc.)
● Paper towels or Box of tissues, Glad Wrap
● Bulldog clips for holding paper in place
● Pencils, 2B, 3B, or 4B
● Photos and/or pictures
● Cartridge paper
● Masking tape fluid/Masking tape
● Canvas boards, MDF boards or stretched canvas

NOTE: Learning in the Hills run a small canteen Monday – Friday from 10.30am – 10.45am.
Food & drinks available by order.
